Mission & Vision
Fondation Chaillot supports the bold new vision of Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse, under the leadership of Director Rachid Ouramdane. Located in the historic Palais de Chaillot in Paris, Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse is the first French national theater to specialize in dance.
Under the aegis of Fondation de France, the foundation is dedicated to making dance a powerful force for social inclusion, empowerment, and cultural connection. Through initiatives that foster diversity, audience experience, and artistic innovation, Chaillot is redefining how a national theater can transform society through dance.
At its heart, the foundation works to support contemporary creation, promote social integration through the arts, preserve Chaillot’s historic heritage, and expand the reach of dance across international borders.
