For the first time, American gamers and streaming fans can take part in ZEVENT, the world’s largest charity gaming event – and get a U.S. tax receipt for doing it.
What is ZEVENT?
ZEVENT is a three-day charity fundraiser built entirely around livestreaming. Created in 2016 by French streamers Adrien Nougaret and Alexandre Dachary, the event kicks off with a concert and then rolls straight into a marathon Twitch stream, where dozens of well-known French content creators broadcast side by side for an entire weekend.
For more than 50 hours straight, streamers rally their audiences around shared causes – and the numbers speak for themselves. The 2025 edition raised more than €16 million for a lineup of charities chosen by the organizers.
This year’s edition runs September 3–6, 2026, in Montpellier, in the south of France – and it is a milestone. It marks ZEVENT’s 10th anniversary, and organizers have announced it will be the final edition. To close things out, every charity that has ever been supported by ZEVENT since 2016 will receive a share of the funds raised this time around – 22 organizations in total.
The support of Fondation de France
Moving millions of euros to dozens of nonprofits in a single weekend isn’t simple, which is why ZEVENT has partnered with Fondation de France for several editions running. Fondation de France specializes in managing large, complex fundraising campaigns with multiple beneficiary organizations, and this year the largest philanthropic organization in France is once again handling the full collection and distribution of ZEVENT donations — split among the 22 organizations according to the same allocation used across the past nine editions.
What’s new for 2026: Friends of Fondation de France, the U.S. partner organization of Fondation de France, is now supporting ZEVENT’s growth in the United States. That means American donors can contribute to ZEVENT 2026 and receive a U.S. tax receipt for their donation.
