Founded in 2004 under the aegis of Fondation de France, Fondation Jeannine Manuel is dedicated to promoting international understanding through bilingual education. The foundation supports Jeannine Manuel schools and other non-profit educational institutions that share this vision. By fostering innovation in education, it aims to advance best practices in teaching and to develop educators who bring these methodologies into the classroom.
Fondation Jeannine Manuel supports pedagogical research and outreach programs that extend beyond its schools. It funds research grants, teacher training, and global workshops, inviting leading educators and organizing conferences to promote innovative teaching methods. Key areas of focus include inquiry-driven science education, natural language acquisition, and social-emotional learning through Well-being programs. Additionally, means-tested financial aid ensures that students meeting entry criteria can access education at its Paris and Lille campuses, regardless of financial background.
US donors can help fund key initiatives that have been in place for several years. These include the Science curriculum project, which enhances inquiry-based learning, as well as a scholarship program that provides financial aid to deserving students. Donations also support research on teaching practices and the development of educational activities designed to benefit both students and teachers.
