The École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay (ENS Paris-Saclay) is a public institution of higher education that offers a scientific and cultural education of the highest quality. It provides students with early and immersive exposure to research, supported by 12 laboratories and 3 interdisciplinary research institutes across the basic sciences, humanities and social sciences, and engineering disciplines.
ENS Paris-Saclay’s mission is structured around three core pillars: delivering high-quality education and training, advancing multidisciplinary research within its institutes and laboratories, and promoting scientific knowledge from an early age through outreach and education initiatives.
Each year, ENS Paris-Saclay welcomes over 1,700 students into its interdisciplinary school, where they are immersed in research over a four-year program and encouraged to pursue doctoral studies.
The school is composed of 11 research departments designed to bridge disciplines that are often kept separate in higher education. ENS Paris-Saclay integrates fundamental sciences, engineering, and the humanities and social sciences to foster a truly cross-disciplinary approach.
To further encourage doctoral pursuits, the school offers dedicated PhD track programs, providing students with tailored academic support as they embark on their research journeys.
Committed to scientific outreach, ENS Paris-Saclay also engages students from an early age. Through programs aimed at elementary, middle, and high school students, it helps them discover the world of science, develop critical thinking skills to combat misinformation, and prepare for higher education within reputable scientific institutions.
As a leading research hub, ENS Paris-Saclay brings together over 600 research professors and scholars, working across more than 12 laboratories and 3 interdisciplinary research institutes that enjoy national and international recognition.
As a member of the Université Paris-Saclay, ENS works collaboratively with external laboratories and partner institutions to strengthen cooperation around specific scientific and industrial themes.
ENS Paris-Saclay also partners with major industry leaders through joint research chairs and laboratories in key sectors such as aeronautics, aerospace, energy, automotive, and information technology. Strategic partners include Airbus, EDF, Atos, and Safran.
Research is vital to solving global challenges, and your donations can have a transformative impact!
