The mission of Fonds de dotation Abbaye de Pontlevoy is to preserve the historical and educational heritage of Pontlevoy Abbey; support maintenance and restoration of the abbey and to support philanthropic activities of educational, cultural, social and health nature within an inclusive environment that promotes the personal development and mutual assistance of students and the integration of most vulnerables.
More than 850 young people study in the historical buildings of Abbaye de Pontlevoy. Education is provided for middle school and high school students, as well as professional training for students with a mental disability.
To help the educational development of Abbaye de Pontlevoy, U.S donors can support the renovation and restoration of sports pitches, buildings (to open new classrooms and an auditorium) as well as the adaptation and equipment of some buildings to welcome more disabled students.
