The Foundation of Paris Opéra Comique supports the creation of new opera productions and the preservation of French artistic heritage. Based in Paris, Opéra Comique is one the oldest lyrical institutions in France and created major operas such as Carmen, Manon, Lakmé, Pelléas et Mélisandre, Les Contes d’Hoffmann…
Thanks to its Foundation, the Opéra Comique aims to make opera accessible to the widest possible audience, including young people, and individuals affected by disability, autism, Alzheimer and cognitive illness. The Opéra Comique also encourages emerging young talents and gives them access to the stage.
Donations help fund and promote programs aimed at including young people and those with disabilities, such as the Maîtrise Populaire and RELAX performances, as well as give young talents an opportunity to see the stage, like the academy.
