Fondation Mines Nancy

Mission & Vision

Fondation Mines Nancy aims to encourage and develop teaching, research, and continuing education in the fields of metallurgy and the mining industry at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Métallurgie et de l’Industrie des Mines de Nancy. They also aim to strengthen their relationship with the metallurgy and mining industries, and other relevant industries for which their programs prepare students.

Actions Led

The foundation offers financial support to the school’s development projects. They also support students throughout their academic journey, through:

• Scholarships for academic excellence, of up to €50,000 per year, to support students who wish to study abroad or pursue a double degree in their third year.
• Honorary loans, of up to €8,000, interest-free over four years, to students pursuing a double degree at a foreign university during their third year.
• Secured Emergency Advances, of up to €1,200, to students experiencing temporary financial hardship (for example, while awaiting a scholarship disbursement)

Projects that U.S. Donors Can Support

Donations to Fondation Mines Nancy will contribute to the financing of: 

• Scholarships of academic excellence for foreign students wishing to join Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Métallurgie et de l’Industrie des Mines de Nancy for one academic year.
• Scholarships of academic excellence for French students wishing to study abroad (except in the USA) for one academic year, and prepare for their double degree.
