The Fondation Martine Aublet was established in honour of Martine Aublet, a distinguished French art historian and cultural advocate, by Fondation de France, in close collaboration with the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac in Paris. Since its creation in 2011, the foundation has worked to promote education and appreciation of non-Western arts and cultures through various funding initiatives, notably by helping young researchers conduct field work abroad.
