Created in 2008 by Didier Wirth and the French Committee of Parks and Gardens, the foundation has been operating under the aegis of Fondation de France since 2019. Since then, it has actively worked to promote the art of gardening and to safeguard France’s rich botanical heritage, ensuring that these cultural and natural treasures continue to inspire and educate future generations.
