In 2000, Friends of Fondation de France was launched in New York to strengthen the philanthropic bond between France and the United States—building on 250 years of shared history and friendship.
For the past 25 years, we’ve embraced this mission by facilitating U.S. donations to more than 330 projects in France and beyond, channeling over $50 million to causes ranging from arts and cultural institutions and advancing research, to youth empowerment, international development, and education.
Today, with a quarter-century of experience, we are proud to provide our trusted nonprofit partners with the tailor-made guidance they need to grow their fundraising in the U.S. and build long-lasting relationships with American donors.
As we mark this milestone, we’re thrilled to share our anniversary report, Celebrating French-American Philanthropy: 25 Years of Friends of Fondation de France. Inside, you’ll discover the impactful work made possible by our nonprofit partners and generous donors, as well as inspiring stories that speak to the lasting philanthropic bond between France and the United States.
