The Institut national d’histoire de l’art (INHA) is a research institute operated jointly by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Culture. Its main mission is to consolidate and promote research in art history and heritage studies, and to support scholarly research and international cooperation. Its library provides a unique collection of resources and documentation in this field.
Thanks to Friends of Fondation de France, US donors can support:
– a scholarship and grant program for art history students and international researchers to improve research mobility in France and abroad.
– the acquisition of artworks to enrich the INHA collections.
– the INHA publishing of books or online publications to enhance art history research by making it accessible to a wider readership.
