L’Aide aux Jeunes Diabétiques (AJD)

encourages caregivers to work with patients with diabetes to give them access to the necessary care

L’Aide aux Jeunes Diabétiques (AJD) works to support young diabetics navigating care. Beyond vital care, type 1 diabetes requires essential psycho-social support. The AJD is a nonprofit organization where patients and caregivers work hand in hand to ensure that young people with type 1 diabetes have access to the care they need to build healthy futures.

With their gift to AJD, donors offer families:

  • Psychological support, including parenting support, conflict management and empowerment of adolescents with type 1 diabetes
  • Mediation with institutions in conflict situations, such as access to school, canteen, extracurricular activities, including the development of intervention tools
  • Volunteer support
